Traditional Spray Dry
In addition to our DriZoom™ Technology, Hagelin offers traditional spray dry for liquid flavors and for use in various applications. Traditional spray dry utilizes heat, to transform a liquid or slurry solution into a solid powder.
Encapsulation & Controlled Release
Encapsulation provides precise control over the delivery and perception of flavor agents and other materials, by method of encasing these components into a microcapsule. Hagelin’s DriZoom™ technology and traditional spray dry are two of many systems we can use to form microencapsulates.
Encapsulation offers the ability to enhance nutrition, prevent reactivity of the encapsulate and surrounding environment, protect flavor agents, and extend product viability and shelf life. Controlled release is an integral part of encapsulation, which provides delayed and sustained time-release of the encapsulate. |
