The History Of BRC
Continuing The Legacy After 65 years of dedication to the beverage formulation industry, W. T. Miller passed away in 2002 on Thanksgiving Day. He worked everyday at Beverage Research Center since the opening, up until one week of his passing, when he suffered from a stroke. The Miller family would continue the business he dearly loved to this date.
In 2007, two families would be reunited. W. T. Miller and Roy Hagelin, founder of Hagelin Flavor Technologies, had been friends for most of their adult lives, sharing equal passion for their business and the flavor industry. It was decided this year, as a benefit for both companies to merge the talent, innovation, and creativity.
We do not consider this an acquisition however, but simply a reunion of families; the culture and spirit of both Beverage Research Center and Hagelin are nearly identical and complement one another beautifully. Operating as Hagelin Flavor Technologies: Beverage Research Center, each group brings to the other new innovation, expertise, and the same level of commitment to customer satisfaction.
Beverage Research Center has been a part of the cola and beverage formulation tradition for nearly three-quarters of a century. The Legacy began here, and will continue—
All in the heart of cola county.
